The 2016 Neighborhood Safety, Connectivity and Congestion Levy supplements existing safety, sidewalk, maintenance, traffic management and bicycle facilities programs, helping the city address a backlog of important projects. It also supports a new program aimed at easing motor vehicle congestion in neighborhoods.

Since the Levy was approved by voters in 2016, the City of Bellevue has invested more than $22 million and completed over 60 projects in Bellevue neighborhoods. A video showcases some of the highlights during the first five years of the Levy.

Levy funding pays for the planning, design, construction and public outreach associated with selected projects. Levy projects are typically selected for funding every two years.

Projects eligible to receive levy funding fall into six categories listed on the left side of this page. In some cases, projects are listed under more than one category. Also, project delivery may occur beyond the two-year funding cycle. The interactive map shows projects that are fully or partially funded by the levy .
