Chiho was elected in November 2021. He is an Eastside native and has lived in the Lake Hills neighborhood since 2008. Prior to joining the EBCC, was a member and president of the Bellevue Library Board and a gubernatorial appointee under Gov. Christine Gregoire as a trustee of Western Washington University. He is passionate about public service and solving the concerns of everyday neighbors through proactive engagement and communication with constituents.
Chiho holds a bachelor's degree from Western Washington University and an MBA from the University of North Alabama. He works as the corporate controller of a global engineering firm in the energy industry.
He enjoys taking advantage of Bellevue's beautiful parks and recreational facilities, going for walks around Larsen Lake, swimming at the Bellevue Aquatic Center, and, as a certified personal trainer, is an enthusiastic advocate of getting our communities active and moving!
